Valentino Lazaro has found a new club.

After the Styrian's contract recently expired following four years with FC Torino, the 36-cap ÖFB international is now moving to Al-Ain FC in the United Arab Emirates.

There, Lazaro will meet his Austrian compatriot Adis Jasic, who already moved from WAC to the Emirates last year.

Both are primarily at home on the right flank.

One of the Most Successful Clubs in Asia

For Lazaro, after stints at Salzburg, Hertha BSC, Inter Milan, Newcastle, Mönchengladbach, Benfica, and Torino, this marks his eighth professional club. He made a total of 131 appearances for FC Torino.

About his new club, Lazaro says: "Through my conversation with the coach, I got a clear picture of the working atmosphere within the team, and I know exactly who Al-Ain is and what expectations the fans have – and I promise them that I will give my absolute all."

Al-Ain is one of Asia's most successful clubs. In addition to 15 national league titles, the club has also won the AFC Champions League twice, among other achievements.
