Former Rapid player Beric returns to Europe
The now 35-year-old striker returns to his homeland.
New challenge for Robert Beric!
The former Rapid player returns to Slovenia and signs with FC Koper in the country's top flight. Most recently, the striker played in China from 2022 to 2026, but he had been without a club since January 2026.
From 2013 to 2014, Beric played for SK Sturm Graz, before moving on to SK Rapid. At Rapid, the 25-cap international proved himself for Ligue 1 and transferred to Saint-Etienne in 2015 for 7.5 million euros.
For Sturm, the Slovenian made 42 appearances (12 goals, 11 assists); for Rapid, 49 appearances (33 goals, 12 assists).
