Napoli star's heart surgery successful

Scottish international Scott McTominay has successfully undergone heart surgery.

The 29-year-old had been diagnosed with a "mild, harmless cardiac arrhythmia." McTominay underwent surgery at Spire Manchester Hospital in England.

According to SSC Napoli, the Scottish World Cup participant can return to training in two weeks. He has already played 82 games for the Italians, with whom the midfielder won the Scudetto in 2025.

On Wednesday, Napoli will host reigning English champions Arsenal in the Champions League.
