Frosinone Calcio celebrates a 4-2 home victory against Sassuolo Calcio on the seventh matchday of the Italian Serie A.

ÖFB legionnaire Romano Schmid played the full match for the promoted side, thus celebrating their fourth win of the season.

Schmid Witnesses Raimondo's Masterclass

The hosts got off to a good start, taking the lead through Calo after just nine minutes. However, Sassuolo quickly found an answer: Berardi leveled the score at 1-1 just six minutes later.

Then came Raimondo's moment. The 22-year-old striker scored twice within four minutes (26'/30') to give Frosinone a two-goal lead. However, Thorstvedt reduced the deficit for Sassuolo (37'), keeping them in the game.

Hat-trick Makes the Difference

After the break, Raimondo sealed the preliminary decision. Following a corner, the goalscorer was on hand once again to complete his hat-trick (57'). With now seven goals for the season, the attacker leads the Serie A scoring charts.

Frosinone held onto their lead until the final whistle and continued their strong start to the season. Florian Grillitsch remained absent for the promoted side due to injury.

With 13 points, Frosinone climbed to a strong fourth place in the table. Sassuolo slipped back to eleventh place with eight points.
