Tarik Muharemovic is causing a stir in the Premier League.

After August, the 23-year-old centre-back has now also been named "Hero of the Month" by Leeds United fans for September. This marks the second consecutive time the Bosnian international has received the award for best player of the month.

37 Million Euro Transfer Fee Pays Off

The Slovenian-born player was developed at Austria Klagenfurt and Wolfsberger AC, spending his youth in Carinthia before making the leap to the Premier League via Sassuolo.

Muharemovic moved to Leeds in the summer for around 37 million euros and quickly developed into an absolute key player. In September, he also scored his first goal for his new club in the EFL Cup against FC Chelsea.

Strong Start to the Season

Leeds United has started the new season well. After six matchdays, Daniel Farke's team is in a strong seventh place. Next Sunday (3:00 PM CET in the LIVE ticker), the "Peacocks" will host the "Red Devils" from Manchester.

Muharemovic's strong performances are certainly not going unnoticed internationally either. Among others, FC Bayern Munich is reportedly keeping an eye on the defender.
