RB Leipzig faces one mammoth task after another in the coming days.

Tomorrow, Saturday (6:30 PM in the LIVE ticker), the Saxons will be guests at FC Bayern, and next Wednesday, Leipzig must compete again in the Champions League and prevail at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid.

Big Games Still Without "Baumi"

ÖFB star Christoph Baumgartner will still not be available, as he is meticulously working on a swift comeback.

However, the games against Bayern and Real Madrid still come too soon for the 27-year-old, as RB coach Martin Demichelis revealed at the press conference on Friday.

Return Against Elversberg?

However, Demichelis holds out the prospect of a possible return to the matchday squad against SV Elversberg. Leipzig will host the promoted team next Saturday.

"I hope he has another good week, and at the beginning of next week, we will speak with him, the athletic trainers, and the doctor. I think he's already closer; he's training with the group. It looks good," the Argentinian commented on the Austrian's training progress.

After an almost five-month injury break, the 58-cap international could thus make his return to the pitch in time before the upcoming international matches in November.
