ÖFB International Strauss Out for Months with Serious Injury
The football year is over for the Regensburg captain.
A devastating injury for Felix Strauss!
The Austrian from Jahn Regensburg suffered an ACL and meniscus injury in last weekend's match in the German third division against VfB Stuttgart's second team.
As the club announced, the Regensburg captain will have to undergo surgery. He will therefore be out for several months.
This season, the 25-year-old from Salzburg, who moved from Bulgaria to Germany a year ago, was in the starting lineup for all seven league games. Strauss has been captain at Jahn since summer.
