FC Hansa Rostock parts ways with head coach Daniel Brinkmann and his assistant Dirk Flock.

The German third-division club announced this on Tuesday. On Friday, they suffered a 0:4 defeat in the league clash with Viktoria Köln.

Brinkmann had been in office since November 2024; the German (40) coached the Hanseatic club for 80 games (average points 1.86).

After five matchdays, Rostock is in eighth place in the standings with eight points. Following two wins against Hoffenheim II and Saarbrücken, and two draws against Waldhof Mannheim and Wehen Wiesbaden, they now suffered a clear defeat in Cologne.

Two Austrian legionnaires, Peter Kiedl (22) and Lukas Wallner (23), are under contract with the Baltic Sea club.
