Soon a Coach? Trimmel Observes Former Coach
The Austrian could become a coach after his career. He is currently completing his UEFA B-License.
Austrian Christopher Trimmel is considered a legend at Union Berlin. He has played for the "Eisernen" for over twelve years, experiencing many highs and lows from the 2. Bundesliga to the UEFA Champions League.
At 39 years old, Trimmel is now apparently preparing for life after his playing career. As part of this, he is also visiting the women's team of the "Eisernen". Marie-Louise Eta led the training there; she was the interim coach of the men's team last season.
B-License at ÖFB
Furthermore, according to "Bild", Trimmel is also set to observe the club's youth academy. In the 2025/26 season, he will already be completing his UEFA B-License at the ÖFB, with the final exam scheduled for November.
It is therefore quite possible that the Austrian will remain in football after his active career.
