Not in training camp: Schmid transfer nearing completion
After more than seven years, Romano Schmid will leave Werder Bremen. The deal is close to completion.
Romano Schmid's departure from SV Werder Bremen is now just a formality.
As the club announced on Monday, the ÖFB international will not travel with the team to the second training camp in Harsewinkel. The Styrian has been released for talks with another club.
The club in question is reportedly still Frosinone Calcio.
The newly promoted Serie A side is expected to transfer a base fee of 8.5 million euros, excluding two million in potential bonus payments, to the Weser.
