Official: Alaba's Coach Sacked
After two years, the Vienna-born coach must vacate his position.
Kosta Runjaic's departure from Udinese Calcio had already been brewing, and now it's official.
As the Serie A club announced on Monday evening, the head coach of David Alaba and Co. has been relieved of his duties.
Udinese is currently in second-to-last place in the league with five points. In their last eight games, they suffered seven defeats.
Assistant coaches Przemyslaw Malecki and Alexander Trukan also have to depart. A successor for Runjaic, who took over in Udine in 2024, has not yet been named.
