Even a Top Transfer Target? Former WAC Player on FC Bayern's Radar
As early as summer, the former Bundesliga player was linked with a top club.
Only last summer, Tarik Muharemovic (23) moved to the Premier League.
After strong performances at Sassuolo, newly promoted Leeds United surprisingly secured the services of the Bosnian, who grew up in Austria.
In England, the former Wolfsberg player got off to a good start, which is why he has now likely landed on the radar of an absolute top club.
Top Transfer Target for Bayern
As the English transfer portal "TEAMtalk" reports, FC Bayern Munich is said to be showing increasing interest in Muharemovic. The outlet refers to its own sources, according to which the 23-year-old is even considered a top transfer target by Max Eberl, Christoph Freund and co.
Accordingly, Bayern could explore a first approach as early as this coming winter, although a Muharemovic departure from Leeds after only half a year is considered out of the question. After all, the PL club paid 37 million euros to Sassuolo in the summer.
A transfer next summer would be somewhat more realistic. Besides the German record champion, Inter Milan is also said to be showing interest.
Career Start in Austria
Muharemovic, born in Ljubljana, began playing football at Austria Kärnten. In 2019, he eventually joined the WAC youth academy.
The Bosnian national team player left the "Wolves" already at 18 years old, after making six appearances for the first team, heading towards Juventus Turin.
