Arsenal FC and successful coach Mikel Arteta are extending their collaboration.
As the "Gunners" officially announced on Wednesday, the Spaniard (44) has extended his contract with the Londoners, which was set to expire in summer 2027, until summer 2030. Arteta's staff also remains on board.
Arteta has been head coach of Arsenal FC since December 2019. After three consecutive runner-up finishes, he led the club to their first Premier League title since 2004 in the past 2025/26 season.
In the UEFA Champions League, they were only defeated by Paris Saint-Germain in the final after a penalty shootout. After 310 games in charge so far, Arteta boasts an average of 2.06 points – the best of any Arsenal coach ever.
