Following his injury in the run-up to the World Cup, the Leipzig player is now participating in parts of team training for the first time.

As RB Leipzig announced on Tuesday, the ÖFB star has participated in "small parts of team training" for the first time since his injury.
The 27-year-old suffered a serious injury during warm-up in the penultimate test match before the 2026 World Cup. Following surgery on his right thigh in early June, he has been unavailable for both the ÖFB team and his club.
It remains unclear when the attacking player will make a full return to the pitch.
