Land Salzburg Sponsors RB Leipzig
The state of Salzburg, through its tourism company "SalzburgerLand", is set to support the Saxons from a tourism promotion fund.
RB Leipzig is getting a new partner from Austria.
As the club announced, the tourism company "SalzburgerLand" will gain a presence in the Red Bull Arena in the future. The Leipzig team is currently holding a training camp in Saalfelden.
"With SalzburgerLand, we gain an attractive and internationally successful partner who shares our high standards of quality and professionalism," said managing director Johann Plenge.
Six-Figure Investment According to "Bild"
Deputy State Governor Stefan Schnöll (ÖVP) states: "The Red Bull brand enjoys enormous appeal worldwide in both the lifestyle and sports segments. This positioning thus opens up significant attention and new opportunities for us in growing overseas markets to position the Salzburger Land as a leading sports and activity destination."
According to "Bild", 300,000 euros will be provided from a state tourism promotion fund. Additionally, the tabloid reports that the training camp will also be paid for by the Land Salzburg, with costs for this estimated at around 200,000 euros.
Nicolas Seiwald, a native of Salzburg from Kuchl, is part of Leipzig's squad.
