Bad news for TSG Hoffenheim.

Centre-back Albian Hajdari injured himself in training on Tuesday and will be unavailable for weeks. The 23-year-old Kosovan has suffered a plantar fascia injury.

This means TSG head coach Christian Ilzer will have to do without another key player for several weeks.

One of the Bundesliga's Most Valuable Centre-Backs

Hajdari already missed Hoffenheim's match against Hamburger SV last weekend due to an injury. The Kosovan was also unavailable for the Nations League international matches against Austria.

When fit, however, Hajdari is a TSG regular. With a market value of 25 million euros, the 23-year-old, who arrived from FC Lugano in 2025 for a transfer fee of five million euros, is among the ten most valuable centre-backs in the German Bundesliga.

Only Second-to-Last

Sporting-wise, things have been sobering for TSG Hoffenheim lately. They currently find themselves in 17th place in the German Bundesliga.
