In the recent past, several reports have circulated concerning Frankfurt and their goalkeepers. For example, there is reportedly interest in signing Freiburg's Noah Atubolu.
Furthermore, according to "The Athletic", Michael Zetterer is reportedly on the verge of a move to the island after just one year and 28 appearances in the Eagles' jersey. Leeds United and the Hessen club are said to be close to a basic agreement.

At Leeds, James Trafford from Manchester City has already been installed as the future new number one, with the German intended as a number two.
However, his agent Nico Pellatz denies any knowledge of this, as he clarified in the "Bild": "We are very surprised by reports that Michael Zetterer is close to a transfer. These do not correspond to the truth. Michael and his family feel very comfortable in Frankfurt. A move is currently out of the question for him."
Zetterer is under contract in Frankfurt until 2029.
