FC Augsburg loses 1-2 to SC Freiburg on Matchday 8 of the German Bundesliga.

In the 18th minute, Michael Gregoritsch was criminally free in the box after an excellent assist from Ibrahimovic and scored his fourth goal of the season (18'). However, this was not enough for FCA, who have now been winless in six Bundesliga matches.

The Breisgauer, for whom Philipp Lienhart played the full 90 minutes, turned the game around in the second half with two goals from substitutes. First, Matanovic, who came on at halftime, scored (65'), then Irie found the net two minutes after his introduction in the final phase (85').

The Sportclub returns to winning ways after defeats against Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, ranking third with 16 points. Augsburg has been waiting for a league win since September 6th, but is in ninth place with nine points.

Thrilling match in Leverkusen

VfB Stuttgart secured a 4-2 victory against Bayer Leverkusen.

Demirovic (14') and Leweling (22') put the Swabians 2-0 up, while Schick managed to pull one back in the first half (28').

Shortly after the break, El Khannouss restored the two-goal lead (51'), and Demirovic's 4-1 goal (65') virtually sealed the win. Maza's goal to make it 2-4 (79') did not change that.

After their third win of the season, Stuttgart sits on nine points and tenth place, while Leverkusen drops to sixth position with 13 points.

Borussia Mönchengladbach and SC Paderborn, meanwhile, played out a goalless draw, with Kevin Stöger on the bench for the "Foals".
