Paris Saint-Germain signs the next Frenchman.

Shortly after the Champions League winner announced the signing of Maghnes Akliouche, Lucas Digne's transfer is now official.

The 33-year-old full-back arrives from opponents Aston Villa a few days before the UEFA Super Cup in Salzburg. The French club is paying the release clause of seven to eight million euros.

Second Stint in Paris

Digne is expected to feature on PSG's left defensive flank, behind regular left-back Nuno Mendes.

Overall, the Frenchman is making his second stop in Paris. He previously made 44 appearances for Paris between 2013 and 2016.
