Xaver Schlager has reportedly found a new club!
As reported by "The Athletic", the Austrian international is on the verge of a move to Premier League side Nottingham Forest. The midfielder is expected to undergo his medical examination this week.
Schlager, who did not extend his contract with Leipzig and is available on a free transfer, is reportedly set to sign a two-year contract with an option for a further year.
He would thus follow Oliver Glasner, becoming the first new signing under the Austrian manager. Schlager is expected to compensate for Elliot Anderson's departure to Manchester City.
