The 22-year-old Brazilian arrives from Palmeiras. He is expected to compensate for Sávio's departure from the "Skyblues".
The restructuring at Manchester City continues!
The English club signs Allan from Palmeiras for around 40 million Euros. He is set to replace Sávio, who moved to Tottenham Hotspur for 87.7 million Euros.
The 22-year-old has already played 96 competitive matches for the Brazilian club, scoring nine goals and providing twelve assists.
There is no information yet regarding the contract duration. Allan could immediately take on an important role at Manchester City. Last season's runner-up also intends to offload Jack Grealish to Everton.
"I have followed Manchester City and Pep Guardiola extensively"
On Manchester City's Instagram page, Allan speaks about his connection to Manchester City: "In Brazil, we extensively followed the beautiful football that Manchester City plays. When Pep was still there, it was the famous Tiki-Taka."
His future teammate Vitor Reis has contacted him with messages and will help him settle in. Reis joined Manchester City from Palmeiras in winter 2025.
He could make his debut on Saturday in the home game against Coventry City (16:00 in the LIVE-ticker).
