Ibrahim Sangare (28) has extended his contract with Nottingham Forest until 2029. The club of coach Oliver Glasner and ÖFB national team player Xaver Schlager announced this on Tuesday.

It is an early extension. Originally, the Ivorian's contract would have expired in the summer of 2028.

The defensive midfielder moved from PSV Eindhoven to the island three years ago for 35 million euros and established himself as a regular starter last season. For Forest, he appeared in 43 competitive matches in 2025/26 (two goals, three assists).

The 28-year-old also participated in the World Cup with Ivory Coast and featured in all four of the Ivorians' matches.
