Media reports indicate that the Blues can soon look forward to significantly more experience within their ranks – and twice over.
According to "The Athletic", striker Danny Welback of Brighton & Hove Albion is set to join Stamford Bridge. The 42-cap England international has a contract with Brighton until June 2027, but the transfer fee remains undisclosed.
Additionally, Jordan Henderson, who was part of Thomas Tuchel's World Cup squad, is also expected to bolster Chelsea in the future. Despite having a remaining contract with FC Brentford, the 36-year-old is reportedly set to join the London club on a free transfer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
