Departure at FC Red Bull Salzburg: Moussa Yeo is leaving the "Bulls" and moving to Welsh club Swansea City in the second-highest English league.
The 22-year-old Malian came to Salzburg from his home country in 2022. Yeo started as a cooperation player at FC Liefering, where he scored six goals and provided four assists in 33 games.
He was also active for the Red Bulls' Youth League team during this period (6 games, 1 goal).
At the start of the 2024/25 season, the attacking player then moved up to FC Red Bull Salzburg, where he ultimately featured in 70 matches (9 goals, 7 assists).
"Right Time for a Move"
"I think now is a good time for Moussa to make a move. He has developed well with us in Salzburg over the past few years, and it was time for a next step. He decided to move to the second English league, and we wish him all the best and much success," says Salzburg's sporting director Marcus Mann.
Yeo himself thanks Salzburg "for the opportunities I had in my four years here".
"During this time, I was able to prove myself very well and learn a lot, both as an athlete and as a person. However, I feel that now is the right time for a new, different club. That's why I'm now saying goodbye and moving to England with many great experiences."
