Strong World Cup: Former LigaZwa Player Moves to England
The former SKN attacking player scored three times at the World Cup. Now he is leaving Scotland and continuing his career in the English second tier.
Attacking player Elijah Just, who previously played on loan for SKN St. Pölten, has a new club.
The 26-year-old left-footer is leaving Motherwell FC (SCO) and moving to Swansea City in the English Championship. There, he signs a three-year contract until 2029, including an option for an additional year.
The transfer fee is reportedly 5.9 million Euros. Motherwell did not name an exact sum but referred to it as a record sale in a statement.
"He can play in several positions, and his versatility will be a great asset to the team. Elijah joins us after impressing in all phases of our selection process and delivering a brilliant performance at the World Cup. We are very pleased to have him with us," says Swansea coach Vitor Matos, who was assistant coach at FC Red Bull Salzburg in 2024.
With Moussa Yeo, another former "Bull" is under contract with the "Swans"; he moved to the island at the beginning of July.

Just participated in the World Cup with New Zealand and contributed three of their four goals in the group stage.
He scored twice against Iran and once against Belgium. He only needed seven shots for this. New Zealand was ultimately eliminated as the last in their group with one point.
The 47-cap international moved to St. Pölten on loan in the summer of 2024 and scored six times in 19 matches in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga. After a year in LigaZwa, Just moved from AC Horsens to Motherwell.
In Scotland, the attacking player contributed 15 goal contributions in 43 competitive matches, securing a spot in the Team of the Season. He was also among the nominees for the Player of the Season award.
