Austrian International & Ex-Salzburg Captain Missing from Lyon's CL Qualifying Squad
If the French team advances, Sturm Graz could await in the playoff. The Austrian player can be subsequently nominated for that.
Recently, an Austrian player, centre-back Felix Bacher (25), joined Olympique Lyon.
His new club plays on Tuesday in the 3rd qualifying round for the UEFA Champions League against Sparta Prague (from 8:00 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).
Bacher will not feature, as he was not registered in time. An appearance in the second leg is therefore also ruled out. However, this has nothing to do with an injury. According to "L'Equipe", the Tyrolean is training normally with the team.
Bidstrup is injured
In a potential playoff, the former WSG player could return to Austria. The winner of the match between Fenerbahce and Sturm Graz awaits there. The Austrian player could then be subsequently registered for this fixture.
The same applies to former Salzburg captain Mads Bidstrup, the Dane is also missing from the squad for the match against Sparta Prague.
The 25-year-old is suffering from a cartilage problem in his knee and cannot train for at least two weeks.
