After the sporting miracle in the Champions League qualifiers, LASK accomplished another one in the transfer market in the same week.
Sasa Kalajdzic returns to Linz after his loan spell ends, and on a free transfer no less. The ÖFB striker signs a three-year contract with the double winner.
In Upper Austria, the 29-year-old will play in the Champions League for the first time in his career.
There's also a change regarding his shirt number: Kalajdzic will wear number 11 this season instead of 10.
Picked up in a Mini
On Sunday, the two-meter-tall man landed at Hörsching Airport with his wife Lorena and son Aleksandar, and of all things, was picked up in a Mini Cooper.
Before that, Kalajdzic spoke his first words after his return: "Hello, dear LASK fans. I'm happy to be back here and looking forward to the season with you."
