Sasa Kalajdzic's transfer to LASK is complete. This is reported by "Sky" reporter Eric Niederseer.

Accordingly, the striker is moving from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Linz on a free transfer, where he will sign a long-term contract. Kalajdzic is still expected in Linz on Sunday.

LASK coach Didi Kühbauer had confirmed on Saturday on the sidelines of the home match against Altach (3:0) that a Kalajdzic return was imminent (All info >>>).

Kalajdzic is said to be taking significant salary cuts with his move to Austria. Elsewhere, he could have earned significantly more. According to "Sky", concrete offers from top-5 leagues were on the table.

With LASK in the Champions League

Emotional reasons are said to have ultimately swayed his decision for a return to LASK.

The 29-year-old played for the Upper Austrians last season as a loan player and won the league and cup double. In the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, he contributed 13 goal involvements, and five in the cup.

Kalajdzic will play in the UEFA Champions League with LASK this season. Likely also a reason why the 25-time Austrian international decided to return to Linz.
