Just four days after the incredible comeback against Celtic Glasgow and their first-ever entry into the UEFA Champions League league phase, the Linzers delivered another more than dominant performance in the Bundesliga.

With a 3-0 home victory over SCR Altach, the double winners underscored their ambitions in the early title race on Saturday.

Above all, one player once again stood out with a strong performance in front of the home fans at the Raiffeisen Arena.

Lang after brace: "We could have won 6-0"

It is, of course, Christoph Lang. The forward has been shining with strong performances since the start of the season and once again proved this with a brace. Nevertheless, the Styrian showed considerable self-criticism.

"Honestly, we can't be truly satisfied with the performance. We were nowhere near our maximum potential. It wasn't easy mentally," said the 24-year-old LASK striker.

"On a better day, we could have also won 5-0 or 6-0," Lang added.

Kühbauer satisfied with Lang: "The switch has flipped"

For LASK coach Didi Kühbauer, however, the performance was quite satisfactory. "We played a really good game in the first half, and I am absolutely satisfied," explained the Burgenlander.

Naturally, Christoph Lang's performances are a source of great satisfaction for Kühbauer. "For him, the 'switch has flipped'. I've had one or two conversations with him. He has now become a different player and has done very well in recent weeks," Kühbauer said.

However, the biggest headline, of course, was the probable imminent return of ÖFB striker Sasa Kalajdzic.
