Salzburg lets U21 international move to Germany
The attacking player was recently on loan at GAK. Now he makes the move abroad.
FC Red Bull Salzburg and attacking player Zeteny Jano are now definitively parting ways.
As the "Bulls" officially announced on Tuesday afternoon, the 21-year-old is leaving the City of Mozart for Regensburg. He signs a contract until 2028 with German third-division club SSV Jahn Regensburg.
The U21 international had been on loan at GAK since early 2025, but has not played a single game since suffering a ligament tear in November. The 'Red Jackets' reportedly sought another loan spell, but FC Red Bull Salzburg apparently preferred a permanent separation.
Jano did not make a single appearance for the "Bulls'" senior team, but he did impress at FC Liefering (76 games/13 goals, 15 assists) and in the UEFA Youth League (24 games/7 goals, 4 assists).
