Is Salzburg interested in two Torino teammates?
The "Bulls" are being linked with two FC Torino players.
FC Red Bull Salzburg has already spent over 30 million euros in transfer fees for new signings this summer. This sum could potentially increase further.
As reported by transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the "Bulls" are said to be interested in two FC Torino players.
Firstly, there is Gvidas Gineitis. The central midfielder is 22 years old and still has a contract with Turin until 2029. According to Di Marzio, Salzburg is said to have "great interest" in the left-footed player from Lithuania, who has already played 32 international matches for his country.
Njie also on the radar
In the course of discussions regarding Gineitis, Salzburg is also said to have inquired about his teammate Alieu Njie. The 21-year-old winger from Sweden is also under contract with Torino until 2029.
While Njie has so far made 31 appearances in Serie A for FC Torino (two goals, one assist), Gineitis already boasts 76 appearances in Italy's top flight (three goals and two assists).
A transfer fee in the millions would be due for both players. According to "Transfermarkt," Njie's market value is three million euros, and Gineitis' is 5.5 million euros.
