After Contract Termination: Renner Breaks Silence
Following an incident in the changing room, the contract of ex-WAC defender Rene Renner was terminated. Now the 32-year-old speaks about the incident.
Recently, Rene Renner was suspended by WAC after an incident in the changing room (more info >>>).
This morning it was announced that Wolfsberg had terminated the 32-year-old's contract.
"I made a mistake, I take responsibility for it, and I apologize for it. I must emphasize that I never wanted to harm the club," Renner told the "Krone".
"I won't say anything bad"
"I would like to thank WAC for the good times, I won't say anything bad. I want to emphasize that I always gave 100 percent for the club," Renner said.
Renner already has an offer from a new club. Which one is not yet known as of today.
The defender played 46 games for WAC. In these, Renner scored four goals and provided one assist.
