Familiar Faces Missing! The 'Bulls' Training Camp Squad
Further departures are looming at Red Bull Salzburg. 31 players will travel to the training camp, with former key players absent.
Red Bull Salzburg will prepare for the upcoming season from Saturday at their training camp in Flachau.
Several well-known names are missing from the 'Bulls'' 31-man squad. After some departures have already occurred, including that of captain Mads Bidstrup, further ones are likely.
Hendry Blank, Aleksa Terzic, Lucas Gourna-Douath, Mamady Diambou, Maurits Kjaergaard, Valentin Sulzbacher and Zeteny Jano are not included in the squad.
It is doubtful whether they will play a significant role in the 'City of Mozart' next season.
Several New Signings Included
On the other hand, new signings such as Abubakr Barry and Bartosz Mazurek are also present, as are returning players like Leo Morgalla.
In addition to seven training sessions, the 'Bulls' will also play a test match against FC Kharkiv on Thursday during the six days.
Röhl Wants to Work on "Positioning"
New coach Danny Röhl explains the schedule as follows: "We have trained very intensively so far and focused on different areas each training week. At the training camp, the main focus will be on working on positioning in the final areas. It will be about defending the box, but also about playing out cleanly from there."
He also stressed the importance of the team spending time together and getting to know each other better.
