Austria Wien extends long-term with homegrown talent
The 18-year-old shooting star signs with the "Violets" for several years.

In addition to the contract extension of commercial director Zagiczek, Daniel Nnodim also receives a new contract. The full-back signs a contract until summer 2030.
Breakthrough Player of the Season Start
At the age of 13, Nnodim joined the Austria academy and went through several youth teams of the Violets. After 31 appearances for the Young Violets, he was promoted to the professional squad this summer.
At the start of the season, he made his debut in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga and impressed with strong performances. In six competitive appearances in the league, cup, and Conference League qualifiers, he scored one goal and provided three assists.
Sporting director Tomas Zorn explains the future plans for Daniel Nnodim: "He possesses a sought-after profile and brings a lot of dynamism to the team. In his first few weeks with the first team, he has already hinted at the potential within him and shown that he can hold his own at this level. Our goal is to now specifically develop him further and gradually guide him towards an important role."
