Confirmed! Dominik Fitz is back in Austria
The former Austria Wien player is back in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, but he's not going to Vienna.
There were rumors recently. Now the deal is confirmed!
Dominik Fitz (27) is moving on loan for one season from Minnesota United to Wolfsberger AC.
Months of Negotiations
He played 204 games for his youth club Austria Wien before his MLS move. "I am very happy to be back in Austria and can't wait to be on the pitch again and collect playing minutes. I think WAC is the perfect place for me to do that, and I'm already eager for my first appearances," the former Austria Wien player clarified.
Head coach Thomas Silberberger is pleased about the new signing: "We are pleased that after months of negotiations, the transfer has finally gone through. Since he hasn't played for a very long time in America, it is now our task to restore him to his old strength and get him back to where he was before his move to Minnesota."
