Report: LASK nearing agreement with ex-Rapid player
The Linz side seems to be far along in their pursuit of the former Kühbauer protege. This is according to a Greek report.
The "Oberösterreichischen Nachrichten" reported on Monday about LASK's interest in Robert Ljubicic from AEK Athens.
According to a report from Greece, they seem to be quite far along. "Sport24" writes that both sides are close to an agreement.
Loan with Option to Buy on the Table
Accordingly, Ljubicic is also keen on the deal. According to the report, the Greeks actually wanted to sell the ex-Rapid player permanently. At LASK's insistence, it is now said to be a loan with an option to buy.
A loan fee will also be due.
Knows Kühbauer from St. Pölten and Vienna
The 27-year-old knows coach Didi Kühbauer very well; both worked together at SKN St. Pölten and Rapid.
Ljubicic played for the ÖFB U21 team in 2020, but prefers to play for Croatia in the senior national team. He has never been called up.
