LASK loses 0-2 to German third-division side FC Ingolstadt in the only test match of their training camp in Herzogenaurach.

LASK had the first chance of the match, but Harakate's low shot hit the post (7'). However, it was the underdog who took the lead after eleven minutes: Sekulovic outran Kebe on the left wing, and his cross into the box was converted by Deichmann.

Bello had the best chance for Linz to equalize, but his shot was cleared off the line by Deichmann with a header while lying down (14').

Crossbar prevents heavier defeat

In the second half, FC Ingolstadt scored their second goal through trialist Ganda. The former Admiraner found the net with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area (65').

Shortly before that, Jungwirth deflected a shot onto the crossbar, and Ingolstadt hit the woodwork again later on. LASK still created a few opportunities, but the Linz side couldn't find the net.

"The performance was poor," said coach Didi Kühbauer. "We didn't defend the first goal well, but then we got better into the game. However, our finishing wasn't precise enough. In the second half, not much happened overall. There's a lot to work on."

LASK line-up: Jungwirth (68' Schützenauer) – Freckleton (46' Ibrahim), Tornich (74' Ilk), Kebe (58' Michael) - Bello (68' Dibango), Horvath (C), Lang (68' Ivkovic), Flecker (68' Jörgensen) - Danek, Adeniran (68' Perovic), Harakate
