Things could still happen at SK Rapid in the transfer market. Serge-Philippe Raux Yao is repeatedly rumored as a candidate for departure. Schalke 04 reportedly came knocking recently >>>

Accordingly, a replacement for the central defense would be needed. Johannes Hoff Thorup could welcome the next compatriot to the team after striker Tonni Adamsen.

Only one year left on his contract

According to "Fußballeuropa.com", the Hütteldorfers are interested in William Glindtvad (19) from Danish second-division club Hilleröd Fodbold.

The transfer candidate still has a contract there until 2027 and a market value of 550 thousand euros.

The 1.98-meter man would bring 40 professional appearances for his current club. He moved there from FC Copenhagen's youth academy in February 2025.

Will a Viennese coach provide competition?

Rapid is not the only club interested, however. According to the report, German second-division club Karlsruhe is also looking at the young Dane. Maximilian Senft, a Viennese head coach, has been there since summer.

In his home country, Glindtvad is reportedly on the radar of first-division clubs Lyngby and Sönderjyske.

The player himself is reportedly ready for the next step and would not be averse to a move abroad.
