Belgian champions hot on Salzburg striker's trail

An agreement is reportedly already in place with the Norwegian, with the Bulls set to receive a high seven-figure transfer fee.

Just days before the start of the new competitive season, another departure is looming at Red Bull Salzburg.

According to Belgian transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, Edmund Baidoo is being heavily courted by Club Brugge. The reigning Jupiler Pro League champions have reportedly already reached an agreement with the 20-year-old Norwegian.

The Champions League participant has reportedly submitted a transfer package worth 9 million Euros to Salzburg, and talks between the clubs are ongoing.

Great Potential Never Fully Utilized

Baidoo was signed in the summer of 2024 for 3.3 million Euros from Norwegian second-division club Sogndal. The nimble striker repeatedly showed glimpses of his great potential but was never able to fully exploit it.

In 68 competitive matches for the Bulls, Baidoo scored twelve goals and assisted seven. His contract in the city of Mozart runs until summer 2029.

Besides the Norwegian, Adam Daghim is also considered a candidate for a departure from Salzburg. TSG Hoffenheim is showing great interest in the young Danish attacker. Read more here >>>
