Rapid: Will Moroccan replace Amane?

SK Rapid is reportedly in talks with defensive midfielder Anouar El Azzouzi.

This is reported by the Dutch portal "vi.nl".

The 25-year-old played for Fortuna Düsseldorf last season. However, the midfielder was relegated to the 3. Liga with Fortuna.

Since his contract expired on July 1st, he would now be available on a free transfer.

Multiple Interested Parties

The midfielder, who holds both Moroccan and Dutch citizenship, has also played for PEC Zwolle and FC Dordrecht in his professional career.

However, Rapid is not the only club reportedly interested in El Azzouzi. There are also said to be interested parties from the Dutch Eredivisie, from Nürnberg, and from the MLS.
