Report: Several Prominent Applicants for ÖFB Sports Director Position
Several former professionals, a former national team coach, and three individuals from the ÖFB are reported to have applied for the position.
The application deadline for the position of the new ÖFB Sports Director has passed.
Interested parties could contact the association until October 26. The ÖFB is expected to make a final decision by the end of November.

Neither the association nor the consulting agency Ernst & Young announced who specifically applied. According to "SN", however, some names have recently leaked.
TV Pundits and Former Professionals
Accordingly, Marc Janko is said to have been proposed by Ernst & Young themselves. The former goalscorer wants to participate in the application process.
Marko Stankovic (now a TV pundit) and Stefan Maierhofer (coach of Ostliga club Krems) are also said to have submitted applications.
