Is FAC losing a key player to the Bundesliga?
The defensive midfielder is a regular starter for Floridsdorf, but could leave the club in the near future.
Noah Bitsche has been under contract with Floridsdorfer AC since summer 2024.
During this period, the defensive midfielder has made 63 appearances for the club from Vienna's 21st district. The 23-year-old is also a regular starter under new coach Mario Sonnleitner and has already captained the team this season.
Due to his robust playing style as a ball-winner, he is nicknamed "Gattuso of the 2. Liga".
Interest Exists
According to LAOLA1 information, the Vorarlberg-born player can imagine a move in the coming winter or summer. Bitsche himself is ready for the next step in his career.
There is reportedly interest from the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. Already last summer, the midfielder was on the radar of league rivals First Vienna FC and Blau-Weiß Linz. However, a move fell through at the last minute.
Contract Until Summer 2028
Before his time at FAC, Bitsche played in his home region of Vorarlberg for SCR Altach and FC Dornbirn. With Altach, he even made his Bundesliga debut in March 2022 against Red Bull Salzburg.
In LigaZwa, he has played 107 times for FAC, Dornbirn, and Vorwärts Steyr.
His contract in Floridsdorf is still valid until summer 2028. Currently, however, the focus is first and foremost on playing a successful season with the club. FAC is in ninth place after ten rounds.
