LigaZwa Goalscorer Hotly Desired
Romeo Vucic is said to have attracted interest domestically and internationally. International media report this.
After ten matchdays, FC Blau-Weiß Linz is at the top of the ADMIRAL 2. Liga table.
25 points, eight wins, most recently two full successes against FC Liefering and Austria Salzburg - Romeo Vucic (23) has made no small contribution to this successful run.
The centre-forward, who moved from FK Austria Wien to the Bundesliga relegated club this summer, has proven to be very prolific in the jersey of his new club so far.
Six goals and four assists make the Viennese player - tied with Voitsberg's Fabian Schubert - the current league top scorer. Now, the 16-time Austrian U-national player is said to have attracted interest from clubs both domestically and internationally.
Club with ÖFB Duo Reportedly Interested
According to reports from the "Ostsee-Zeitung", citing the online portal "fussballeuropa.com", at least three clubs are said to be interested in Vucic.
From Germany, Hansa Rostock is said to have expressed interest in the Linz goalscorer. Two ÖFB-legionnaires, Lukas Wallner and Peter Kiedl, already play for the third-division club from northern Germany.
There is also said to be interest from Serbia. FK Cukaricki is reportedly interested in Vucic.
Tied Until Summer 2028
According to the report, Wolfsberger AC is also said to be in the running for a future engagement of the 1.88-meter tall right-footed player.
Manfred Schmid, an old acquaintance of Vucic's, recently took over as head coach of the struggling Lavanttalers.
Vucic is still under contract in Linz until summer 2028, including an option for another year.
