Admira signs former Ajax talent from the Netherlands
Admira strengthens its squad with an attacking midfielder after a failed start to the season.
Admira has reacted to their botched start to the season and signed Xavi Woudstra. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder moves to Südstadt on a free transfer from Almere City's U23 team.
Woudstra was trained in the renowned youth academy of Ajax Amsterdam and made two international appearances for the Dutch U18 national team.
Most recently, he played for Almere City's second team in the third Dutch league.

"With Xavi, we gain a strong and offensively-minded midfielder for our team. Thanks to his creativity, he can certainly add additional qualities to our squad."
"He himself sees the best conditions with us to give his sporting and personal development the necessary boost. We are delighted to welcome a top-trained player to Admira," explains Sporting Director Ralf Muhr.
Poor Start to the Season
Admira had a poor start to the new season.
After being eliminated from the UNIQA ÖFB-Cup against fourth-tier side Leithaprodersdorf, the second-division team also lost their first home game of the season against Rapid Wien II at the start of the ADMIRAL 2. Liga.
