Wacker Innsbruck struck again on Deadline Day.

As the LigaZwa promoted team announced, they have signed Gabriele Biancheri. The 19-year-old attacker joins from Manchester United's U21 team.

The Welshman was developed in the Cardiff City youth academy before moving to Manchester United in February 2023.

First Professional Experience with English Third-Tier Club

With the "Red Devils," the versatile attacking player certainly impressed in the U18, U21, and UEFA Youth League before gaining his first experience in professional football at third-tier club Rotherham in the spring of this year.

The 1.78m tall right-footed player has made five appearances for the Welsh U21 national team so far, scoring two goals.

"With Gabriele, we were able to sign an extremely interesting player. His education at Manchester United and his career path in various Welsh youth national teams mean he brings an extremely exciting profile," says Jakob Griesebner.

The Sporting Director adds: "Furthermore, he has recently gained experience in senior football, which will help him settle in quickly with us. This transfer once again underlines the path we want to take with talented young players."
