LigaZwa newcomers sign player from Bregenz
The West Styrians continue to prepare for their return to LigaZwa. Another new signing comes from Vorarlberg.
ASK Voitsberg has secured the services of Johannes Schriebl.
As the promoted team to the ADMIRAL 2. Liga announced on Tuesday, the 24-year-old defensive midfielder joins on a free transfer from new league rival Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz.
The Oberwart native had not been offered a new contract by the Vorarlberg club.
Over 60 games in 2. Liga
Sporting Director Sebastian Szvetits stated: "Johannes is extremely valuable for our squad and match planning; in addition to the number 6 position, he also covers all three central defender positions. Furthermore, Johannes has already gained plenty of second-tier experience, which is an important factor for our young team."
Schriebl, who was trained at AKA Burgenland, has already played 62 times in the 2. Liga for SV Lafnitz and Bregenz.
Last season, he made 20 appearances across all competitions for Bregenz, scoring once and providing one assist.
