Former US International Joins 2nd Division!
The long-serving Denmark-based player arrives in Lower Austria from a relegated top-flight team.
SKN St. Pölten announces the signing of Jonathan Amon.
As "the Wolves" announced on Tuesday, the 27-year-old American joins from Danish top-flight relegated club Velje Boldklub.
The winger had already moved from his home country to Denmark in 2014. The two-time US international remained there until recently, playing for Nordsjaelland, Lyngby BK, and most recently Velje.
"I am very pleased that we were able to convince Jonathan to join us. He brings tremendous pace and one-on-one solutions, and he definitely fits our character very well too. We expect him to make our offense more unpredictable and for this to be reflected in his statistics," says Sporting Director Christoph Freitag.
