SV Ried releases defender to LigaZwa

Another departure at SV Ried!

After Jonas Mayer's move to FC Blau-Weiß Linz (More Info>>>), central defender Dominik Kirnbauer also leaves the Innviertler. The 23-year-old moves to ADMIRAL 2.Liga club Floridsdorfer AC, where he signs a contract until 2027.

Kirnbauer already played in LigaZwa for SV Lafnitz and ASK Voitsberg before moving to Ried in the summer of last year. There, he made a total of six appearances in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga.

"The talks with the club officials gave me a very good feeling. I know that I bring a lot with me through my experiences last season, but above all, I want to show what I can do on the pitch," said Kirnbauer about his new challenge.

"It is important to me to regularly bring my qualities to the pitch and thus help the team," Kirnbauer said, full of anticipation.

"Dominik brings experience from both the 2. Liga and the Bundesliga. That's an overall package that is especially important to us in the central defender position. With him, we gain squad depth, defensive stability, and at the same time, he can also create attacking threats," said FAC Sporting Director Lukas Fischer.
