FAC is reorganizing its club management.

The previous leadership, consisting of President Walter Brand and General Secretary Herbert Tomasetig, is handing over their functions with immediate effect to current board members Gerald Lehner and Günther Schweizer, both of whom have been active in various capacities for the club for several years.

Kick-off for "Strategy 2030"

The change also marks the launch of "Strategy 2030". The outgoing officials had jointly initiated and significantly shaped the project. With the end of the fiscal year on June 30, the newly formed executive board team will assume responsibility and is tasked with further professionalizing the traditional Floridsdorf club in line with the new direction.

The executive board team will be expanded with Thomas Hensler, Benedikt Pultar, and Christopher Vasicek. Jakob Schleger will also remain with FAC as a board member.

Lehner becomes new FAC President

Gerald Lehner (42) joined FAC Wien as a sponsor in spring 2022 and later became involved in the supervisory board. Since 2024, the Floridsdorf native has been part of the executive board team and now assumes public representation of the club as President.

His predecessor, Walter Brand, was active for the club from 2007 to 2026 in various capacities – including Managing Director, Board Member, Chairman, and most recently as President.

"We will continue on a successful path"

"As a Floridsdorf native, it is a great honor for me to be able to take on the office of President of this traditional club. Together with my executive board colleagues, we will do everything in our power to continue FAC's successful path and to sustainably develop the club athletically, economically, and organizationally," said designated President Gerald Lehner.
