Confirmed: SKN St. Pölten must let key player go
The defender joins a club from Georgia.
What was already brewing is now confirmed: Luxembourg international Dirk Carlson will not play for SKN St. Pölten next season.
The full-back joins Georgian club Dinamo Batumi and signs a one-year contract. This includes an option for a further year.
The 28-year-old's contract had expired on June 30. Even before that, SKN sporting director Christoph Freitag hinted that he would likely not be retainable for financial reasons.
